# Supported providers

> Choose the right provider option and endpoint for each storage service in BucketMate for iOS

Canonical: https://docs.bucketmate.app/ios/providers/supported-providers

BucketMate for iOS works with Amazon S3 and any S3-compatible service that accepts access key and secret key credentials. The **Provider** picker has the same eleven options as the Mac app. Services without their own option use **Custom S3-compatible**.

## Provider options

| Service | Provider option | Endpoint | Region |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Amazon S3 | **Amazon S3** | Optional | Pick from the AWS region list |
| Google Cloud Storage | **Google Cloud Storage** | Prefilled with `https://storage.googleapis.com` | Pick from the GCS region list |
| Cloudflare R2 | **Cloudflare R2** | `https://<account-id>.r2.cloudflarestorage.com` | `auto` |
| Backblaze B2 | **Backblaze B2** | `https://s3.<region>.backblazeb2.com` | Pick from the B2 region list, for example `us-west-002` |
| DigitalOcean Spaces | **DigitalOcean Spaces** | `https://<region>.digitaloceanspaces.com` | Pick from the Spaces region list, for example `nyc3` |
| Wasabi | **Wasabi** | `https://s3.<region>.wasabisys.com` | Pick from the Wasabi region list, for example `us-central-1` |
| Supabase Storage | **Supabase Storage** | `https://<project-ref>.supabase.co/storage/v1/s3` | Pick from the Supabase region list |
| Hetzner Object Storage | **Hetzner Object Storage** | Filled from the region, `https://<location>.your-objectstorage.com` | Pick `fsn1`, `nbg1`, or `hel1` |
| Tigris | **Tigris** | Prefilled with `https://t3.storage.dev` | `auto` |
| MinIO | **MinIO** | Your MinIO HTTPS URL | `us-east-1` unless you changed it |

## Set up a Custom S3-compatible provider

1. Tap **Provider** and choose **Custom S3-compatible**.
2. Enter the provider's HTTPS endpoint.
3. Tap **Region**. Choose **us-east-1**, or choose **Custom region**, type the region, and tap **Save**.
4. Enter the access key and secret, then tap **Test connection**.

MinIO and custom endpoints must use HTTPS. A self-hosted MinIO server on plain `http://` cannot be added from the iPhone app.

## Provider guides

The steps for creating keys and finding endpoints are the same as on macOS. Use these guides, then enter the values in the iOS connection form:

- [AWS S3](/macos/providers/connect-aws-s3) - use access keys. AWS profiles and SSO are not available on iOS.
- [Google Cloud Storage](/macos/providers/connect-google-cloud-storage)
- [Cloudflare R2](/macos/providers/connect-cloudflare-r2)
- [Backblaze B2](/macos/providers/connect-backblaze-b2)
- [DigitalOcean Spaces](/macos/providers/connect-digitalocean-spaces)
- [Wasabi](/macos/providers/connect-wasabi)
- [Supabase Storage](/macos/providers/connect-supabase-storage)
- [Hetzner Object Storage](/macos/providers/connect-hetzner)
- [Tigris](/macos/providers/connect-tigris)
- [MinIO](/macos/providers/connect-minio)

If your connection already works in BucketMate for macOS, you can skip manual setup and import it with a QR code. See [Connect storage](/ios/features/connect-storage).
