Workspaces, settings, and shortcuts

Organize web connections with workspaces, tune settings, and use keyboard shortcuts

BucketMate Web stores app organization and preferences locally in your browser. Use workspaces and settings to keep storage accounts separated and speed up repeated tasks.

Workspaces

Workspaces group connections, bucket state, pinned buckets, hidden buckets, large-bucket state, and last-opened bucket state.

Use workspaces for:

• Personal and work storage
• Client projects
• Staging and production accounts
• Separate teams or environments

The free trial supports one workspace. Pro unlocks multiple workspaces.

Connections and buckets

Within each workspace, BucketMate Web remembers:

• Saved connections
• Expanded connections
• Pinned buckets
• Hidden buckets
• Large-bucket indexing state
• Last opened connection and bucket

Switching workspaces disconnects the current session, clears workspace-dependent in-memory cache, and loads the selected workspace's saved state.

General settings

Open Settings > General to configure:

• License
• Light, dark, or system appearance
• Error monitoring
• Onboarding guide
• Passkey-encrypted connection locks

Extension bridge

Open Settings > Advance to check the companion extension status. The extension must be connected before BucketMate Web can test connections or manage S3 buckets.

Local cache

Open Settings > Advance to clear browser-local cache. Cache can include saved connections and folder metadata.

Use cache clearing when:

• A bucket changed outside BucketMate Web and cached data looks stale.
• You want to remove browser-local app data.
• You are troubleshooting connection or folder state.

Shared links settings

Open Settings > Shared Links to manage browser-local share-link history.

You can search history, copy a URL, open a URL, delete an entry, or clear all history. Clearing history does not revoke links that were already created.

Default keyboard shortcuts

Open Settings > Shortcuts to customize shortcuts or reset them to defaults.
