Settings
Change view mode, manage shared links, turn on file previews, and clear cached data in BucketMate for iOS
Open Settings from the gear icon in the top-left corner of Connections.

General
View mode
Tap the current mode next to View mode to change how file rows look:
| Mode | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Comfortable | Larger rows with name and size. This is the default. |
| Compact | Single-line rows to fit more items. |
| Detail | Dense rows with size, last modified date, and storage class. |
The change applies to every file list right away.
Shared links
Shows how many presigned links you have saved. Tap it to open the shared link history. See Preview, share, and download.
File preview (Pro)
Turn on File preview to show image and video thumbnails in file lists.
- Turn on the File preview switch.
- Tap Enable in the Enable file preview? prompt.
File preview uses more data and can affect scrolling performance. In the free version, the row is labeled Pro and turning on the switch shows a Pro feature prompt with Buy now.
Advanced
Clear cache data
BucketMate caches bucket lists, folder listings, bucket metrics, and preview thumbnails on the device so screens load faster. The row shows the current cache size.
- Tap Clear cache data.
- Tap Clear to confirm.
Fresh data loads on the next refresh. Clearing the cache does not delete connections or files in your buckets.
Cached data also expires on its own: bucket lists after 7 days, and folder listings and bucket metrics after 1 day.
